I took the first step into sewing today. I bought a beginners book for sewing simple this and that. The cute and colourfull ideas attracted my eye and the price wasn't so bad either. 
I've always had a love for dark wooden furniture, but all of the textiles in my home should be colourfull, happy and of a pretty pattern. Flowers, cuteness, animals, prettyness, folk art, lace, well you know what I like by now.
The only thing missing now is fabric, threads and... all of the rest of general sewing supplies. Well at least I have the sewing machine!
